Eden Eternal

Platform:
Windows PC

My Characters:
EvanicaRose - level 19 Hunter/Thief
(Rainbowfalls Forest - third zone)

Kanarain - level 8 - Magician
(Limestone Mountain - start zone)

Gameplay:
Like most other MMORPG's, the game centers around your character's "destiny" as you work you way from village to village saving the day. I find the game quite unique because it lets you change your vocation whenever you want to, and sometimes to get a certain vocation requires a certain level of a different vocation, likely in a different class.
For my main character, EvanicaRose, I switch between Hunter (which is my main) and Thief. I level in the Thief class because one it's sub vocations (acquired at a higher level) is Martial Artist, which is required to get the Ranger vocation (Hunter subclass) at level 60. Besides that I also want to become a     Blade Dancer (third sub vocation under Thief), and after that a Samurai. Ranger is the highest Hunter class vocation, one I also strive for. The fighting scenarios are like that of World of Warcraft: you engage the monster, and more can randomly join. However, in a sense it's a bit like Wizard101 since you can have multiple powers (the example connects to secondary schools).
The graphics have lovely 3D rendering. What I find odd, however, is that the environment graphics are different than those of characters and monsters. Monsters are a bit more cartoon like, while the trees are more realistic. It's easy to get used to however.
Unlike in WoW (where you can get to anywhere via road without switching zones), zones in EE are connected by portals, kind of like the tunnels in Wizard101. However, you can go through portals beyond your level, such as traveling to areas beyond your level in WoW, unlike in W101 where you need to have a quest access the area.

Leveling System:
Unlike most games, EE has two leveling bars: one for your character, the other for your current vocation. Your character level never changes, however you can have different levels for different vocations. For example, EvanicaRose is a level 19, but her Hunter level is 19 and her Thief level 18. Your vocation level cannot surpass your character level. Abilities you have depending on your vocation are either effected by character level or vocation level. For example: my main attack as a Hunter can be upgraded by my character level, while my 3-shot ability can only be upgraded by vocation level.
Here, let me explain it this way: Say, as a character level of 19, I suddenly decide to switch my vocation to Warrior, bringing my vocation level to 1. Because my main attack is depended on my character level, I could instantly level that ability to 19, though as a Warrior I'm only level 1.
However this "upgrading system" comes with a price. To upgrade my character level it costs money; to upgrade my vocation-based abilities I require "action points" that I get when I level vocationally. Action points are unique only to that one vocation, and do not carry over when you switch.
