I has one.
A lot of people think that the Wii U is just the gamepad (the handheld thing), but it does still include the console. The Delux pack, what we got, comes with the game software Nintendo Land (which is a lot of fun).
As we were in BestBuy and looking around, once we decided we'd it right then, I zoomed right over to the game section and picked out Super Smash-Bros BRAWL, because I was not leaving the store without it.
However that game doesn't use the gamepad, and the system package didn't come with a remote, we only have the one we bought separate. So... only I'm playing the game until we get a second one.
And then my parents were like, "Let's get Just Dance 4!!" and I was like, "NO!" Seriously, I played that at my friends house, and we both died, and this was during the time we both still played soccer five days a week, so we were in good shape (lol not anymore XD). So instead they got Country Dance.
In other news MineCraft works again!! *dances* In my next post I'll take about the case of the mysterious teleporting Nether portal.
I also need to update the DQIX page...

It's called.... I'M BOOOORED
Tuesday, December 18, 2012
Onward!
I have acquired a ship, and now I sail to the remaining contenants in search of golden fruit. I have also made my log of armor and weapons for my characters (something totally over 100,000 gold.... time to fight). Read more about the areas on the page for DQIX.

Finally!!
So after finishing up Alltrades Abbey, I was able to change Eir's vocation to martial artist and start her training with the staff. It's always tiering, having to level up a character again.
It's probably going to be a little difficult having only ONE healer now (Levi). Usually I have at least one other who knows at minimum Midheal (the most commonly used spell, believe me).
Also, the boss of the area, Master of Nu'Un, nearly killed as per usual. EVERY SINGLE TIME I fight him I face near death.
Literally.
Every.
Single.
Time.
At least I'll have my second tank now.
And, in case you hadn't read it on my main blog, I finished my book! Just barely over 60k words. And yes, the DQ characters are named after the characters from my book. I do that a lot!
The first time it was Fallon and Llewella from GWB (and then Marcus, barely mentioned, and Gabrian, who I made up). Second time was Lucy, Natsu, Gray, and Erza from Fairy Tail (the best manga ever!!).
Once I finish leveling, I'll finish up Porth Llaffan (the two areas, that and the Abbey, are on the same island, so you can travel back and forth between them).

A New Log
So I've picked up the video game Dragon Quest IX : Sentinels of the Starry Skies... again. What is it, like my sixth file? My longest playing time was over 200 hours once, but I got bored so I deleted it.
I find it hard to play thing over and over again, cause you know exactly what's going to happen. However, I had created a solution for that.
Usually, this is my party set up: (using random names)
Lucy - ranger - bow
Erik - thief - claws
Terrace - martial artist - staff
Irma - priest - wand
EVERY SINGLE TIME.
So, here's how this one is going to go...
Lucy - martial artist - staff
Erik - warrior - sword
Terrace - mage - whip
Irma - priest - wand (Really, if you don't have a priest you are dead. For sure.)
It works like that because I'm working these characters after the characters in my book. The main character (Lucy) is a ninja-like warrior who fights with a staff. Erik is a beginning warrior, and becomes very talented with a sword. Terrace is a fire wizard, and fights purely with magic. Irma is technically also a ninja-like fighter, however I needed a priest.
This will be very different because

This will be very different because
- The main character has never been a martial artist before
- I've never not had a thief
- First time with a mage character
Since the novel has side characters, I will also create characters for them in DQ. For example, one will be a gladiator because she (yes, she) works with an ax-like weapon. Another character will be the thief because he is a pirate in my book.
I'm actually looking forward to it quite a bit.

Pictures soon and yes, I've bene gone a while (if you haven't noticed)
SCHOOL.
Moving on...
Recently I've been having mouse troubles, where the cursor would teleport across the screen, randomly right click, and minimize my windows. Note: on MacBook Pro OS X 10.8. No external mouse, just a trackpad.
My first thought was that my computer was hacked and someone else was trying to control the mouse. Hey, I've seen how a mouse behaves when two people try to control it.
Anyway, it's all a-ok now. On some occasions it might freak out, but only for a moment.
Because MC is a mouse-based game (you know, walking around, which direction to face, placing an item, etc.), playing was REALLY REALLY difficult. I hope to be on soon, take some screen shots, and post them here with an update.
Like, really soon. Friday maybe....? Saturday is the latest.
Well, just thought I'd let you know. Computers hate me.

DIAMOND
That's right!!
And I can prove it.
So I've mostly been mining at the bottom of the world. I found some Lapis Lazuli. I have NO IDEA what to do with it though. Any solutions?
I also found this weird, underground pool.
O.o
I found a lot of iron down here too.
And several coal veins.
As you can see in the above picture, I have a lot of coal. And redstone. And cobblestone (but I suppose that's natural).
But I need more diamond! I only found four pieces, and already my pickax is almost half dead!
Not cool.
I might give a house tour some time. It's small, but I'm planning on renovating. I do have a lot of stone after all.

Good News Everyone!
I redownloaded minecraft onto my laptop, so I basically play anywhere, anytime (i.e. the bus).
The sad thing is that I lost my previous worlds.
More good news is that I've gotten over my fear of zombie's, and now I'm playing a survival world (lol, on peaceful mode). It going good so far, with an elaborate stone house and a mine nearby, it's all cool. It's in prairie land, so I have unlimited sheep (plural: sheepes, jk lol) and pigs.
It took me a while to find the mine, and when I did I wouldn't stop muttering under my breath "give me all your coal!" My friend thought I was slightly mad, but me and another guy got in a conversation about creepers.
I also did the same when I found iron.
Now I'm exploring, trying to find more iron and coal, and possibly diamond. The advise given to me was that I need to dig deep, and when I find redstone, I'll find diamond.
But you know, the last time I dug deep I ended up falling in lava. So I'm not too keen on the idea.

Re-downloading
This can be taken literally and metaphorically.
I've finally re-downloaded Eden Eternal (EE), I hopefully I'll be able to play that more. And P101 came out today so I downloaded that and played for fifteen minutes until the internet failed. Hopefully this means I'll be able to also re-download W101 test.
Names?
I'm now:
Illusynaria's name may change since I had to create a new account on EE, so if forget and hear about some totally random name that makes no sense and you can barely pronounce it.... that's probably EE.
I'm metaphorically re-downloading, meaning I'm getting back into my video gaming routine now that we have the space on the PC. I'm also very happy about that.
:)

Lovely School
You won't be hearing much from me here since school is hitting full on, leaving me no time for gaming. But just you wait until thanksgiving break, then I'll be on. Hopefully re-downloading Eden Eternal and playing that.
I'll also be writing some too. Maybe get The Arcane Spire part two up. Though I am in the middle of my own original writing... Plus Maelstrom over on Just Emma... Plus... school.
Anywho, it's raining here and I can't see five inches in front of my face because of the fog and mist. It's pouring over the side of the mountain like a waterfall. It's actually been raining a lot here recently. I wonder what the trees will look like after it lets up. Probably bare.

The Arcane Spire - part one
Suryna’s
Winter
Mountain
Academy
The
words were like blocks, painted black against the wooden sign. It
stood out against the white snow that surrounded it. A large archway
studded with torches marked the entryway to the rather small school.
I
stood holding my bag in my left hand, and wrapping my scarf tighter
around my neck with my right. It was very cold in the mountain, and
the snow never seemed to cease falling.
It
had been a long journey, and I hoped it would be worth it. Already I
could tell the school was very small, and would not be housing many
students if any at all. I suppose that and the way it was built that
made its tuition so immense.
The
first room was ground level, made of diamond-, gold-, and lapis
lazuli-ore, with one glowstone on the top to give illumination from
both within and without. I had yet to enter, but the school continued
to be built in the air, a stairway connected each building. What
looked like trees sprouted out from behind a huge stone building off
to the right, and a glass roof could be seen beyond that.
I
make my way up to the front gates, carefully closing them behind me.
Once I was at the simple front door I knocked. Two voices could be
heard from inside, and paused in their conversation when I knocked. A
middle-aged lady came to the door and opened it for me.
“Welcome,
a student I presume? Wonderful, I’m Ms. Penhallow. What’s your
name?”
She
was tall, around five foot nine, and had mousy brown hair. She was
thin, and her face was warm, and her eyes sparkled with kindness.
“I’m
Adria Postleth.”
“Ah
yes, the last to enroll, yet the first to arrive. How was your
journey?” asked Ms. Penhallow as she took my bag. The other lady,
who looked much older with gray hair and a winkled face, was
observing me carefully.
“It
was long. I came from the rain forest in Canala.”
“Ah,
much warmer there isn’t it? I come form the south myself, but only
as far was the Neverblack Forest. Now, how about I show you around?”
She pointed around the room. “This is the kitchen and teachers
lounge. You’ll hardly ever come down here again, unless you need to
leave. There’s a couple rare books that we keep here for students
who have extra credit projects, otherwise they’re off limits. If
you can’t find a teacher, chances are they’ll be here.”
She
led me outside and up a flight of open stairs. “You’ll get used
to the cold soon enough, and don’t worry about slipping. The stairs
are made of wet-dry wood from your rain forest.” The stairs end in
an open platform, railings ran around all the edges, and torches
stood at the corners. The material was what looked like purple sand,
but it seemed to sparkle and fly in an unseen wind. Glass ran
diagonally across the center, revealing the snow-covered ground
beneath.
“This
is sort of the lunch area, or free time area. You can come here and
do anything you want. You’ll find students love to socialize and
hold parties here.” Ms. Penhallow pointed to the right, where a
walkway went a couple yards and ended at a massive stone building. A
sign above the door said: LIBRARY –imagine-.
“That’s
the library, explanatory enough. It’s two floors and will have all
the books you’ll ever need, believe me. A few classes are held
there, but there’s also study halls going on, so it’s very quiet.
Do try to maintain this.”
Ushering
me up yet another flight of stairs, we stop at the door. A sign above
it said AMETHYST.
“This
is the first dormitory, Amethyst. A family of four stays here, two
girls and two boys, so we don’t mind rooming them together. They’re
in the common dormitory, as we call it, and have an eye on them at
all times.”
We
enter. There were four beds, and four chests next to each of them.
Many torches lined the walls and it was much warmer in here than in
the first room. The walls were stone, as was the ceiling, save
another glowstone that stood at the top.
We
exited the room through the other door, and out onto a terrace. Two
large patches of grass where here, and two large trees grew as well.
More fencing lined the edge. To the left stairs led up, and to the
right two more doorways could be seen. Ms. Penhallow walked me to the
right.
“This
is the second dormitory, Jade. Four more young men are staying here.
And this last one is the one your in, Amber. You’ll be rooming with
three more girls your age. Being in dormitories of the opposite sex
is strictly forbidden.” She led be into Amber, where it looked
exactly like the first one. She set my bag down on the second bed on
the left. “Meals will be served in your rooms, and then you may eat
them wherever you wish.”
I
looked around. It was small, but it was cozy. “Who else is coming?”
“Well
I can’t remember everyone by name dear, but you’ll meet them
before nightfall, as well as the other teachers. Some of them are out
right now. Now come along! Let’s get on with the tour.”
Ushering
me out of the room, she guides me over to the wooden stairs. Up the
first four, you could either go straight or right, we went straight.
It ended at a sandstone building with double doors.
“A
couple of your classes will be here, the Alchemy room.” We go in.
Four Enchantment tables lined the walls, and between them were
bookshelves. Only a few torches were lit and it made the room rather
chilly. I tug my coat closer around me.
“You’re
clothes just won’t do will they?” says Ms. Penhallow, though it
was more of a statement rather than a question. “I’ll order some
appropriate clothes for you. Now, back down, I’ll show you my
favorite room.
Back
down the stairs, we go up the next room. It was made of lapis lazuli
had glass walls and ceiling. Despite the glass, however, it was quite
warm, though only four torches burned total. Every manner of plants
grew on the grass floor, from flowers to herbs to vegetables.
“This
is the Greenhouse and Observatory. You’ll have biology and
astronomy here.”
I
was barely listening. I kneel down to examine a yellow flower with
little gray lumps on the stem. “Where did you get a Sundasiy?” I
ask I wonder. “They’re nearly extinct everywhere else.”
Ms.
Penhallow smiles. “A girl student from Mirhalton, out in the
desert, brought that a few years back when they still grew. We’ve
taken great care of it since. I believe her little brother is coming
this year. Come, I have one more room to show you.”
I
reluctantly we left the greenhouse, up a flight of stairs, and into
what looked like a prison. Dark stone made up the walls, and iron
bars lined the sides. Two floor to ceiling cages, also made iron bars
were on both sides of it, and within each one was a monster, the size
of a man, with pink skin and green warts sprouting puss.
I
cringe away in disgust; I knew what they were, and what they could
do.
“We
keep them kind of as guards,” Ms. Penhallow was explaining. “But
we hardly ever need them. They won’t attack unless provoked.”
“What’s
in that room?” I point down a flight of stairs exiting the prison
room. They were made of obsidian, and ended at a room made of what
looked like red sand with an obsidian roof. A solid iron door stood
there, and there were no windows.
“Ah,
and that is the last rule of the academy: no one shall enter that
room or go anywhere near it. There’s nothing in there that concerns
you, and also for your own safety, don’t go near it.” Ms.
Penhallow patted my shoulder. “Come on, I think I hear another
student arriving, let’s go greet them.”

Another post in the same day!
Okay, so I don't think it'll matter whether or not you guys want this blog, because I'm keeping it anyway. That is, of course, if everyone doesn't vote NO! on the poll.
Anyway.
I was just a little eager to post something about Dragon Quest IX : sentinels or the starry skies. It's a DS game I've been playing for a really long time. I've had seven different files (because it can only hold one at a time) and have only ever beaten the game twice.
Anyway, at some times I get so infuriated with the game, I just want to chuck the DS out the window. Anyone else know that feeling? I'm sure you do. It can even apply to homework. And people.
Continuing, at this point in the game I just gained the vocation Ranger. The quest was tedious and long, but I made it. The problem now is that while my entire party is level 17, my character is level 3.
I've got some leveling to do.
The problem with this, however, is that all the monsters are mobbing my character, and I can't fight them all. Even though they do very little damage, I'll be facing off six at a time, and I have yet to learn the spell 'heal'.
Ahh, the tragedies in life.
I would love to tell you all about my party set up, but for those of you who read my W101 fanfiction Black Ivy, I would give away important information (regarding the names). Maybe once part one is posted on the W101 fanfiction webpage I'll reveal the names.
Still, it includes one yet-to-be introduced character. Not a really major one, but one nonetheless. Till then, the party is a mystery.
Someday, far in the future, I may make a video of me beating up some boss in a totally epic way, but I'm only level 17 (technically 3) and the level cap is 99.
The highest I've ever gotten in level 68.
:(
Anyway, enough of this. I'll post about this game in greater detail another time (plus it's 11:45).

Under Construction
So since I kinda got busted on my last blog construction, I decided I'll do it to this one. It's not like this one had a point to begin with. It was just some of my many ramblings.
So this is my non-W101-(soon)P101 blog.
Topics it will include:
YAY!
:)
One big bundle of fun!
That is, if you love gaming. If you don't clearly you are on the wrong blog.
If this is your first time on this blog, and you've never heard of me before, check out my main blog (a fan blog for the awesome mmorpg game wizard101) at Just Emma.
For those of you who do know me, please note that my personality hasn't changed too much from W101 to something else. I'm still addicted to games, and like to spend my time inside.
Honestly, I like all the seasons except summer (besides the fact that theres no school).
^_^
Anyway, that's my little intro. Hope to see you around!
